A bulb converts electrical energy into light energy. It acts as a load/resistor in a circuit. For the bulb to light, one of its terminals should be connected to the positive terminal and its other terminal connected to the negative terminal of the power source as shown in the diagram below.
A) Consider a lightbulb attached to a battery with wires. How must the light bulb be connected in order for it to light?
