Solution

Cell mediated immunity involves the T cells which responds to any cells that displays aberrant MHC markers such as pathogens, tumor or transplanted cells. The following components of the cell mediated immunity are as follows: 

  • T cells which reponds to pathogens, tumors and transplanted cells
  • Interleukins which co-stimulate the activation of T cells 
  • Cytotoxic T cells which destroys cells displaying endogenous antigens
  • Helper T cells which stimulate the release of B cells to fight against exogenous antigens
